Welcome to Sonos! We're thrilled to have you here. At Sonos we know our people create the highest quality sound experience for our customers. That's why we've created a benefits program designed with choice and flexibility in mind to help support your health, wealth, and overall well-being.

Let’s get started!

Follow the steps in your new hire checklist below to make a great start at Sonos.

Your new hire Benefits checklist

1. Enroll in benefits

Enroll in your health and insurance benefits.

2. Save for the future

Enroll in the company’s 401(k) plan to prepare for retirement.

1. Enroll in health and insurance benefits

You have 31 days from your date of hire (or from the date you first move into an eligible position) to enroll in your Sonos health and insurance benefits. If you do not take action, you won’t have coverage. Whether you enroll on day 1, day 10, or day 31 of your enrollment period, your benefit coverage begins on your date of hire or date of eligibility.

Your next opportunity to enroll in or make changes to benefits will be during our annual Open Enrollment, held each year in the fall, unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as the birth or adoption of a new child, or a change in marital status. See Making Changes Midyear for more details.

Who can enroll in Sonos benefits?

All regular full-time employees who are regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week, are eligible to participate in Sonos’ benefits program. You may also cover your eligible dependents under Sonos’ medical, dental, vision, and voluntary life and AD&D benefits.

Short term employees and interns regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage after 90 days of continuous employment.

Your eligible dependents include:

  • Spouse or domestic partner (same or opposite sex)
  • Children up to age 26, including biological, step, and adopted children, as well as children for whom you’re the permanent legal guardian
  • Unmarried biological children who are disabled and who became disabled before age 26

Please note: If enrolling a domestic partner, you will need to sign an affidavit, and tax implications will apply. Please contact benefits@sonos.com for details.
