Health Benefits

Telemedicine

With social distancing such an important strategy for stopping the spread of the coronavirus, now is the time to take advantage of your medical plan’s telemedicine service.

You can avoid going into a doctor’s office, urgent care center, or hospital — receive care right from your home instead. With telemedicine, you have access to board-certified physicians 24/7, 365 days a year. Get fast, convenient diagnosis and treatment for many common medical conditions through video consult on your smartphone or computer.

You also have access to virtual visits with behavioral health specialists who can help you through feelings of anxiety, stress, or depression.

Nurseline

Your Aetna or Tufts Health Plan medical plan offers phone access to nurses who can answer questions about your health and your medical coverage — confidentially and at no cost to you. Your nurse can help you determine what to do if you have concerns related to coronavirus symptoms or any other health issues.

To reach a nurse for Aetna plans, call 800.556.1555.

To reach a nurse for Tufts Health Plan, call 866.201.7919.

Medical Coverage

Your medical plan is always available to support you and your covered family members with comprehensive coverage. If you need COVID-19 testing, that expense will be fully covered at no cost to you. In addition, all of our medical plans include an out-of-pocket maximum to protect what you pay if you need extensive medical care. Please note: As mandated by federal law, members are eligible for COVID-19 testing and associated doctor visits without cost sharing which is effective through the duration of the federal mandate.

View a summary of your medical plan details or log in to the Aetna or Tufts Health Plan website for more information about your plan resources.

Supplemental Medical Coverage

If you are enrolled in a Hospital Indemnity plan and need to be hospitalized, you’ll receive a cash benefit paid directly to you, regardless of how much of your costs your medical plan has covered.

Learn more about the Hospital Indemnity plan. You can also visit the Aetna website or call 888.772.9682. You can enroll in this coverage as a new hire or during Open Enrollment.

Prescription Drug Coverage

Take advantage of your Aetna or Tufts Health Plan home delivery program to receive a three-month supply of your maintenance medication without needing to leave your home.

Visit the Aetna or Tufts Health Plan website or call Aetna at HMO: 800.445.5299 or PPO/CDHP: 877.204.9186 or Tufts Health Plan at 800.462.0224 to learn more or get started.

Making Changes to Your Health Coverage

If you experience a qualifying life event — such as if your spouse loses his or her employer benefits, or if you have a baby or get married — you can make changes to your benefits coverage within 31 days of the event. Keep in mind that the changes must be related to your event. For example, if your spouse loses benefits coverage and you’re not currently enrolled in a Sonos medical plan, you can newly enroll yourself and any eligible dependents; if you are already enrolled in a Sonos medical plan, you can add your spouse to your current plan, but you cannot change the plan in which you are enrolled.

To change your benefits enrollment, visit Workday.

TouchCare

Get free, personalized assistance to help you navigate the health care system, from understanding claims to finding providers and negotiating fees. Available to you and your family members, this service can save you time and money.

Visit the TouchCare website or call 866.486.8242.

Wellness & Life Assistance

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Your emotional well-being is just as important as your physical health. Pay attention to your stress and anxiety level as you navigate your way through the current pandemic — and don’t hesitate to reach out for help!

The Sonos Employee Assistance Program, provided by Aetna, is a free, confidential benefit to help you and your family members through times of stress, like the situation we are all in right now. You and your whole family have access to support for a wide range of mental health, emotional, financial, legal, or relationship issues. In addition to phone counseling, the EAP can also provide referrals to local professionals and services to meet your needs.

Additional Resources from TalkSpace (Aetna Members)

Sometimes reaching out for emotional support can feel like one more thing to add to your to-do list. With Talkspace, you can work with a counselor anytime and just about anywhere. It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to get started. Simply:

    1. Complete a short online questionnaire.

    2. Choose a therapist from a list of suggested providers.

    3. Connect with a counselor virtually.

For more information, call 888.238.6232 any time of day or night or visit the Aetna website.
